new ground?

i loved the crowd. your cartoon looks like it came off the tv... ultra slick ultra pro... the storey was a little tired but brilliantly realised. your view points very dramatic and seemlessly moved between. the charachters expressions... perfect... although it looked smashing and was without error in its realisation... i want new ground on new grounds...

i need...

i need... you need... we need...

i just don't know how you have such a wonderful home in this day and age!

see marcel duchamp, see more, see less, see what you want,,, see who you are,,,, see what you arn't,,,,, see your anger,,,,,, see your peace,,,,,,, your're an establishment boy?... i eat meat... some of which i breed myself... i pull them from the parents womb... rub them in a warm towels... i feed them black berries and apple... they sometimes feed themselves on my vedgetables... not to worry, when they're six months old and i hang them by the feet from the beam in the barn and stick a knife in their neck, i pull off their skins, i split open their head, i eat their brains fried in breadcrumbs and freeze their body parts for the winter... my favourite part of them is their intercostal muscle its delicious.
thanks for hearing your voice.

god will spit my soul from the highest tower

well it was a bit interesting and very carefully done... but i'm a giggler and found the seriousness a little over worthy... as it was a team effort i marked youses down a bit... i like the independent ones... maybe i'm jealous of your connectivity... i'm sure you'll vary the pace a little in your next installment but as the entity stands the pace was a little slow... i liked some of the words but maybe again there was a little too much power phrasing... maybe i just wanted more contrast and tonal range in the text... but then again you may have it to come... it was great work... and very competent, i think it'll make a good movie when compiled and re-edited. good start.

the news

shoot!

if war action can be delicious and i know it "seem's" it can that was... your action used all the latest war scene cliches to the max,, nice judder... great dynamics,, movement,, sound,, ... nice... senseless ness,, dumbness,, nihilism... also full marks... reckon CNN or the BBC or ALJEZ. would stick it in their prime slot. if i was eighteen i'd sign up now... give me a gun! you ever seen Beach Red? early sixties gritty WW2 pacific movie... in the opening beach landing you see a fella get shot in the cheek..! not right between the eyes... or in heart,, but the cheek...! the cheek! it brought the random nonsense of mechanised warfare right home to me... err but i still got enough senseless machismo in me to enjoy that one.
merci

god content

a bit of interesting content... all marks for that. and a subject i'm a little interested in myTHself... subjective bonus points! and a nietche quote for the title.... more points!!! guess where my gripes come in is although your questions are open ended the argument is a little over stated... maybe that was your propogandric drive but play with it... and i think as a filmish thing it falls a little short... the voice over tells the whole storey... the pictures merely illustrate and detail the voice over... be nice to have your pictures go out alone and drive the narartive rather than follow,,, you spent a while making them... make them make it... and let the audience have the quetsions... invoked,,,(?) but i really liked it hence i feel you can take the crit. thanks awfully for some non-chop socky!
i got a website thats messing with similar questions in animation... but i'll leave it at that. merci.

After having it finished the other day, I looked back on my 5 week project in full: I realised how flawed the script is. The scientist's argument is so damn weak. The pope shouldn't have given up so easily! He could have beat that drunken wreck of a scientist! Anyhow- thankyou heaps for your review. This cartoon was good practice, if nothing else.

i do like to press buttons in them

i like to arrange the narrative elements in films -i thinks its what flash gives us new. it makes a new type of film... a new way to interpret the narative. you've started doing that here and i like it.

the storey needs repeating forever although its nothing new... each representation allows a new form with which to try and experience.
i'll look out for your next film, your other films, i'll have to check.

benefit of the doubt

so i'm watching an amalgam of video game references and i'm remembering... being bored in friends bedrooms while infinite platforms and platitudes where concluded... and i'm watching somthing which reminds me of that, and like then, i never had the joystick,,, no one had it...it was a key board controled game and they all sucked for me. but as your film intensifies and its matrix resonances and homages form up... i am getting it... i'm feeling the lonliness of your hero... as he fights on... single handed (but with both arms)... and i get glimpses of other heros in other game worlds fighting it out with the tortoises - the slow ones... the ones who need your speed who try upon your energy... and you transform to pink and then to red and intensify... but the inevitable... and you can break from the platform and enter perspective and plan... and... and... i loved it!!! you are the heroic animator working alone as i do... and you need to think of yourself as a hero.... as i do... the myth of heroism... the myth of the onslaught of the mundane... i'm feeling it man... is that what you meant? i love myTHself, i am myTHself... you help me reach it!

ready mades made well

i'm noy very gamey but i did like your movie. the characters not yours... maybe thats why i have reservations... but i really liked the space you created in the film and the general dytnamics in the chase sequences etc... the falling sequence ... santa in the sky kirby down below all very nice,, your a good student of japanese animation... but go on make some personages up... you can do it! but then again maybe you can say more with 'ready mades' ref: Duchamp,,,

thanks awfully.

i like the way you bend the straight

very pro job... but a team effort so guess that helps.

most like the sur-realer links in the teen-team-sit-com enviroment... it gives good contrast. i think with a thing like this youse need to bend it right in on its self... i do hope some of the projected storey lines in the narraters trailer do come off. its the mundane thats insane not the radical. keep fireing. but if you step back from the edge... orrr it would be a shame... thanks awfully.

heavenly rib tickling

your second movie i've wathched in a row... really competent cutting framing etc... fine pace... graphics adequate... a fun storey, well told,,, and a bit of thinking floating on around after.

i pre-empted the punchline but i was still laughing!

thanks
