collageous,,,coloudeous...

interesting... a bit... certainly a push on surreal... but thats the home turf of cartoons... your light/menace friction was nice... i guess i might want a bit more... of what ever your gonna give... i thought the facial features of the 'various' were a little weak... could have been nattier against the charming land-sky-apes...(?)... but what i am most realising i liked was those sky shots after the rock was wetted. and the quiver you made me feel... "why does it rain one me..? cos for the various...." that was really nice, infact your collage on total was good for thaught... problies... i got this problem with long credit sequences for openers... on 60 second cartoons, evan with irony,,, but i guess you needed to get that opening song into me some where... i don't know... it was what it was, but i think it could be/have been a bit more... specially with a crew of makers... but thanks.

efficacious style

very like your style,,, and your family are naturals right down to you... very tidy animation, very efficeintly animated and good looking... loved the characters upturned toes... misbehaviour in the back of the car gave much fun... i think you got a great cartoon series there... but you gotta be a pro. if not you soon will be.

overall nine cos the simpsons and family soaps already exist... not your fault i know.

fine work, thanks.

animation understated and delightful

loved your drawing, loved the characters, i was a little let down by their dialogue... i.e. the violence, ... characters which seemed familiar became cliche,,, especially on newgrounds context... freddy vs Jason... but it was realigned by the last bleeding tear glance... a character crying blood... its big medicine...

the animation of your charaters was understated and delightful, i especially liked the entrance to the train of the venetian masked bloke... the combintion of those moody greys , the music and the (underground?) train simulation (specifically via the double window moving view thing) put me right in the travel stare melancholoy... masterfully conjured... and then the diver... he was great... safe... home... deep... wieghty... protective

nice little film, just the cliched violence that un-surprised me... but maybe therein rested some meaning i'll discover with time... ... ooooh... thanks

flower power!

excellent little flash movie... tight everywhere... loved the colour flashing to theme song... looked great... liked the evolving equation...

but that war imagery its just so lickable-suckable!!... its in the newgrounds logo... its in every other film on here... YOU use it to great effect in this movie... tanks, guns, bombs, missiles oh yeah and peace... making a film with guns and bombs and PEACE!... its like tits and ass... your text trys to pervert my war lust... but still i lick your war... i suck your violent imagery... i console mythself with your message of peace,,, i smell your violets... see your violence,,, we should ban war porn entirely and only show movies about flowers.... and love... and peace... and, and, piece of ass... with loving... lots of loving... up and down loving... up and down... in uniform... leather boots... marching with guns... shooting ... shoooting!! shhhoooootinggggg!!!!.... ...and he shot
thanks,
oh... i've seen your name bout here before... you Do make things look nice.

thanks! ps. i like how you think

iconaclash of the titans

that looked great!! i was i little worried by the warring stick men but from then on in the dimensions of the movie just kept opening out... i loved the mix of graphic styles from lazk stick - to photo montage... scribble delish...and you just kept turning it up!!! candle sticks meet christmas tree... explodify!!! you've watched much manga and picked up the best from it... your cutting and movement through the storey was lightning... despite warring cliche... this is a favourite of mine.,,, specially since your clashing icons... 'iconaclashing',,, one of my favourite pastimes...

spacejelly responds:

EXPODIFY!!! wait, you gave me a 10 for violence? save that 10 for the one where the guy gets his intestines ripped out his anus

i'd have helped her.. given her a hand

very decent graphics... melancholy storey... storey? i imagine clever code on the seeds... what i liked most was the way you composed it... giving it the space... and i liked your openeing pan to the girl on the plateau,,, i'm not gonna call it art just because it seemed thoughtful... it was devicive and sentimental.. i don't think she should have took the gamble on getting the wings, just cos she's no hands and feet doesn't mean she couldn't live a full life. the two strands of hair rebeling from the fringe, i know it would have been hard but they were such big players, i think you should have spent more time on them... on a film like this where one is asked to contemplate over the animation rather than be driven hard by the narrative (?),,, details that arn't as convincing as the rest become distracting... i'm definately gonna check your oher movies...

BlackmarketKraig responds:

I'm terrible at code so everything was either tweened or (rarely) frame by frame.

The lack of hands and feet were more a stylistic choice than any intended missing pieces of her anatomy... :) Maybe it's my psyche trying to tell me something subliminally.... I dunno.

Thanks for reviewing.

smoke alarms usually stop them!

hmm... i like your seriouser cartoons better. but i think this is a great expose... toasters are the cause of much domestic fire... banning both irons and toasters would save many homes... short of this we must install smoke alarms... hmmm... a very serious note.... oh no... but their repeated mis-firing can lead to madness... and the buring down of houses all over again!

traffic stopper
